A new important achievement has been caught today by Leonardo Marseglia, who adds in his palmarés the third place in the OK Junior at the South Garda circuit in Lonato, in the prestigious Trofeo Andrea Margutti. In the 28th edition of this international karting meeting, the fourteen-year-old driver from Ostuni, Brindisi (I) has consistently remained in the favourites roster, achieving success from the qualifying heats of Saturday, where he grabbed the first row for the final phase races.

Since the heats, Marseglia has worked to secure himself the access to the Final, avoiding agonistic excesses even in the Prefinal, which was very fought in the first positions. The goal was centered with a fifth place, which guaranteed him the third row in the Finale’s starting grid.

In the decisive race, Marseglia has maintained its intention to recovery, joining in the struggle for the top positions and finally cross the finish line in third place: a result that confirms him among the top class drivers in view of the upcoming international commitments.

The WSK Super Master Series, scheduled to take place in two weeks in Sarno, will decide about the rankings in this international series. Marseglia, who in the OK Junior class currently occupies the second place, is fully confident of running in the sprint to the final win.
